Victoria "Vicki" Marie Amend

Victoria Marie “Vicki” Amend, age 66, of Dublin, Ohio, went to Heaven on Friday, July 21, 2023 while at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, after a long-fought battle with lung cancer.  Born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late James and Helen Sutton, Vicki was a graduate of Forest Park High School, Class of 1974 and attended the University of Cincinnati.  Vicki was the former Director of Software Training at Abacus and owned her own custom embroidery business, Hoops n Needles.  She married the love of her life, Don Amend, in 1987.  Together they raised their family and settled in Dublin, Ohio in 2000.  In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by her sons Nicholas and Eric, and her brother Gerald Sutton.  She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Don Amend, sons Michael, Ethan (Brooke) and T.J. (Maria), her favorite granddaughter Aubrey, sisters Ginny (Dale) Castle, Judy (Ralph Coates) Medvick and Melissa (Rich) Lemon and their families, sisters-in-law Jeannette (David) Koucky, Marilyn (Jim) Holder and Sharon Amend, brothers-in-law Louis J. Amend, Jr. (deceased), James (Sandy) Amend and their families, the many other loving members of the extended Amend Family, and her faithful canine companion Odin. 

Family will welcome friends 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. WEDNESDAY at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, DUBLIN-PLAIN CITY CHAPEL, 9720 SR 161, Plain City, OH 43064 (614)-733-0080. (Casual dress is requested.)

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00a.m. THURSDAY, JULY 27, 2023 at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, OH 43017 with The Reverend James P. Black, Celebrant.  Burial will follow the service at Dublin Cemetery.
