Savin Chhuom

Savin Chhuom, age 68, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away at home on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Savin enjoyed being a grandparent, singing in a band, attending to his yard, and gardening. He had a taste for good Khmer food, cooking out with family, spending time at the casino, and hanging with his friends, but what he loved the most was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Savin is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Channy Chao; his children: Tia Chhuom (Shaun Em) Columbus, OH, Tahia Chhuom (Chamnan Soun) Columbus, OH, Nicole Chhuom Grove City, OH, Nick Chhuom (Sary) Columbus, OH, and Alex Chhuom (Kimberly) Galloway, OH, grandchildren: Shaun, Saneliya, Brody Briella, Aubrey, Landus, Mila, Santi, Hermlone, Ezra, Silas, and Quinn; siblings: Say and Rim of Cambodia, Seang and Mohammad of Iran, and Sovann and Nyphon of Gahanna.

Visitation will be held from 9:00am-10:00am, on SATURDAY, January 3, 2025, with a Buddhist Ceremony to immediately follow at 10:00am, at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 9720 STATE ROUTE 161, PLAIN CITY, OHIO, 43064. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard.
