John Scally

John Joseph Scally, age 55, passed away after a long battle with brain cancer on January 14, 2026. Husband of Wendi E. (Baker) and father of Nathan Patrick and Alyson Paige. Grandfather to Clayton and Stetson Scally. Precious son of MaryRose (Sandly)and the late John P. Scally. Brother of James (Jeanine), Timothy (Karin), and Thomas (Anka) Scally. Nephew, uncle, and cousin to many. John graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1994 earning a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was promptly hired by Honda R and D where he dedicated 31 years of employment. He enjoyed golfing with family and friends, cheering for all things Cleveland, and vacationing with his wife and kids. John was also a very skilled craftsman often completing his wife's honey do list. Calling hours will be held at TIDD FUNERAL HOME -PLAIN CITY CHAPEL located at 9270 State Route 161, Plain City, OH 43064 on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 140 West Avenue Plain City, OH on Tuesday, January 20 starting at 10:30am.
