John Brown

John R. Brown, born March 16, 1936, to Roy and Agnes (Bower) Brown, sadly passed away on August 8, 2026. He was a retired Lieutenant from the Dublin Washington Township Fire Department. Following his fire service, he was hired as Muirfield Village Safety and Maintenance director. He was a firm father, a gentle grandfather, and an amazing father-in-law. He enjoyed doing projects, golfing, spoiling his grandchildren, and agitating his daughters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rosella Jordan, and son John Christopher Brown. Survived by daughter, Debra and sons Charles (Patty), Ryan (Kendra), Roy (Jessica), and Russell (Naomi). Grandchildren, Kayla Brown, Samantha (Kenneth) Huffman, Nick (Abbey) Brown, Ryan Jr, Shawn, Jordyn, Emma, Hannah, Jason, Logan, Austin. Great-grandchildren, Jonah Brown, Emmett Brown, Emersyn Huffman, and Estella Brown. Family will receive friends from 11am-1pm on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 at Tidd Funeral Home, 9720 OH-161, Plain City, OH, 43064; where funeral service will follow at 1pm. Interment Dublin Cemetery.
