Jackie G. "Jack" Lane

Jackie Glenn “Jack” Lane, age 84, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025. Jack retired from Nation Asbestos Association Union Local 44. He was former owner of Flint Carry-Out, Jack G. Lane Builders, Marysville Rental Center, Trutow Trailers and co-owner of Pro Tool Rental. Jack was a dedicated hard worker and when not at work he loved working in his yard doing landscaping and planting. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and recreational shooting. Jack was well known for his love for dachshunds and traveled with him everywhere.

He is preceded in death by parents Robert J. Lane and Laura A. Nichols, brother Terry J. Lane, sister Cynthia Blanton, and son Michael T. Lane.

Jack is survived by daughter Laura A. (Josh) Hicks, and son Jason R. (Ginn) Lane, sisters Tammy Weisenstein and Roberta Sharp, grandchildren Sophia and Sebastian Steitz, Jesse Lane and numerous loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 22, 2025, from 4-6pm, where Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:00pm, at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 9720 State Route 161, Plain City, Ohio 43064.
