Gregory E. Steinbaugh

Gregory E. Steinbaugh, age 47, of Plain City, Ohio, met his Savior on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, in Columbus, Ohio. Born in Newark, Ohio to Gary A. and the late Denice M. (Nates) Steinbaugh, Greg was a graduate of Loveland High School, Class of 1992. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton, his Master of Science degree from Xavier University, and attained his PhD, Bio Chemistry degree from The Ohio State University.

Greg was preceded in death by his mother Denice Marlene Steinbaugh. He is survived by bis father Gary A. Steinbaugh, his sister Linda Staley, his nephew Nate Staley, and his niece Ella Staley.

Family will receive friends from 10:00a.m.-11:30a.m. WEDNESDAY, JULY 29, 2026 at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, PLAIN CITY-DUBLIN CHAPEL, 9720 SR 161, Plain City, OH 43064 (614)-733-0080. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00p.m. WEDNESDAY at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 140 West Avenue, Plain City, OH 43064 with Father Joseph J. Trapp, II, Celebrant. Greg will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH, immediately after the Mass.
