Elizabeth "Liz" R. Jennison

Elizabeth “Liz” R. Jennison, age 66, died Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at home after a years-long battle with cancer. She is survived by the love of her life and her husband of 43 years, William; her four children Kyle (Linda), Kevin, Suzanne (Oliver), and Rebecca “Beasy” (Chip); her three grandchildren Aiden, Dorothy, and John, with another grandchild on the way; her four brothers Bill (Mona), Greg (Kim), Roger (Deborah), and Rodney; two brothers-in-law Charles (Sue) and Earl (Ghislaine); a sister-in-law Liz (Billy); and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl B. and Elizabeth H. Reuscher, and parents-in-law Earl D. and Dorothée R. Jennison.

Liz was a funny, imaginative, and playful spouse, mother, and grandmother; a wizard at Jeopardy and word puzzles; an avid reader of sci-fi and thriller novels; and a prolific “accidental” spoiler of movies. She was also passionate about Cleveland baseball (especially as narrated on the radio by Tom Hamilton) and Columbus hockey.

A founding parishioner of St. Brigid of Kildare Church in Dublin, Ohio, she was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith. For many years she worked for St. Brigid religious education as a teacher and later in an administrative role.

Her influence always made the Jennison family home feel like a safe place brimming with love and laughter.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00a.m. MONDAY, MARCH 20, 2023 at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, OH 43017 with The Reverend Monsignor Joseph M. Hendricks, Celebrant, assisted by other members of the clergy. The family will greet friends after the Mass at Hendricks Hall at St. Brigid. Private family burial will be observed at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH.
