Darren E. Schnegg

Darren Earl Schnegg, age 57, unexpectedly passed away at his home on Thursday, December 18, 2025. He was born on August 20, 1968. Darren was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Schnegg, and his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Schnegg; his children, Annie Schnegg and Noah Schnegg; his father, Donald Schnegg; his brother, David Schnegg (Brandee) and niece Elizabeth and nephew Eric; and many close aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many cherished friends and other extended family members who will miss him deeply.

Darren was a devoted member of Saint Brigid of Kildare Church. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially cheering on the Buckeyes and enjoying a good cup of coffee. He cherished his time with his family and his two dogs, Gus and Cooper, and loved traveling on family vacations. He tried to live life to the fullest.

He was generous with his time and heart, volunteering at Dublin Methodist Hospital, where his kindness touched many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on FRIDAY, JANUARY 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, Ohio, 43017, followed immediately by a Funeral Mass. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Darren’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Franklin County Dog Shelter, 4340 Tamarack Blvd, Columbus, OH 43229.
