Darrell Sparks

Darrell Sparks, age 83, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns football team, and Nascar racing, and he loved woodworking and enjoyed square dancing. When you met him, you were instantly a friend because he was a stranger to no one. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Sparks; wives, Betty Sparks and Linda Sparks; 10 brothers, and sisters; and grandchild Matthew Charles.

Darrell is survived by his daughter, Sherry (Brian) Pinney; step-children, Kathy (Steve) Williams, Debbie (Jeff) Charles, and Tracy Chandler; sister, Nancy (Steve) Blackburn; brothers, Johnny Sparks, Conrad Sparks; grandchildren, Jerimikk Chandler, Carolyn Chaffins, Heidi Hall, Chase Williams, and Tasha Chandler; great-grandchildren, Carina, and Charlie Chaffins, Emmett Doyle, and Cayman Chandler.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M, Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, PLAIN CITY/DUBLIN CHAPEL, 9720 STATE ROUTE 161, PLAIN CITY, OHIO, 43064, (614) 733-0080. Funeral Services will immediately follow the visitation at 11:30 A.M., with Sue Dougherty officiating.
