Darrell Cramblit

Darrell Cramblit, 78, of Ostrander, Ohio, was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven on August 22, 2026, surrounded by the warmth of those who loved him most, after a life filled with love, compassion, and kindness.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and cherished friend, Darrell was an avid hunter who held a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He lived a life rooted in family and love, touching the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Darrell is survived by his beloved wife, Vicki Cramblit; his children, Lori Cramblit, Shawn (Vicki) Cramblit, and Julie (Sam) Hutchins; his grandchildren, Garrett (Lily) Hutchins and Gauge Hutchins; his great-grandchildren, Clayton Hutchins and Emilia Hutchins; his brother, Marion Cramblit; and his sisters, Janice Kintz and Vickie (Jerry) Richards; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Anna Cramblit; his sister, Phyllis White; and his brother, Terry Cramblit; his sister in law, Elsie Cramblit.

Though Darrell will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. We are grateful for the years we were blessed to share with him and hold onto the promise that, through our faith, we will be reunited again.

May you rest peacefully in God’s eternal embrace, and know you will forever be loved and cherished.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 3:00 PM- 6:00 PM, at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 9720 STATE ROUTE 161, PLAIN CITY, OHIO, 43064. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home, with a visitation 1 hour prior to the funeral service, beginning at 10:00 AM. Darrell will be laid to rest at the Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City, Ohio.
