Bobbie Cannizzaro

November 28, 1956 — April 7, 2024

Dublin, Ohio

Barbara “Bobbie” Cannizzaro, age 67, passed away on April 7, 2024, surrounded by family at her home in Dublin, Ohio.  Bobbie was born on November 28, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Paul and Barbara Pargeon.  She graduated from Bishop Watterson High School in 1974 and worked at J.C. Penney Insurance until devoting her life to raising her three boys.

Bobbie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  Kind, selfless, and infinitely caring, she always put her family and friends first.  Bobbie loved doting on her children and grandchildren, talking to her siblings, and most of all, spending everyday together with her husband of forty-three years.  Whether she was walking on the beach, cooking a meal, or going to church, Bobbie always had a smile on her face.  She found humor in everything she did and never complained.  Bobbie is as close to a saint as they come.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Barbara, her sister Lois (Tom) Helmig, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anna and Anthony Cannizzaro.  She is survived by her beloved husband, John Cannizzaro, her children, Anthony (Frances) Cannizzaro, John (Jennifer) Cannizzaro, and Christopher (Alexis) Cannizzaro, grandchildren Giovanni, Juliana, Charles, Jackson, and Nicolas, her siblings Paula (Tom) Calderone, Janice (Bill) Fast, Carol (Steve) Calderone, Patty (Rick) Bradley, Marty (John) Beckman, and Jack (Holly) Pargeon, and her sister-in-law, Tina (Bruce) Benson.

The family will receive friends SUNDAY, APRIL 14 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at TIDD FUNERAL HOME, DUBLIN-PLAIN CITY CHAPEL, 9720 State Route 161, Plain City, OH 43064.  Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30a.m. MONDAY, APRIL 15, 2024 at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, Ohio 43017 with Reverend James Black and Reverend Timothy Lynch, con-Celebrants.  Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center, Ohio.
