Barbara A. Dotson

Barbara A. Dotson, age 85, of Hilliard, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2025. Barbara was born on March 26, 1940, to the late Ray and Madileen (Pinnell) Holley.

Barbara was a graduate of Columbus West High School and spent many years as a Girl Scout Leader. She greatly enjoyed home decorating, crafts, camping, and planning parties. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Claude Dotson, her parents, Ray and Madileen (Pinnell) Holley, grandson, Matthew Dotson, brothers, Bruce and Kenneth, and her sisters, Bernice and Carolyn.

Barbara is survived by her children, Keith (Debbie) Dotson and Cristal (Joe) Foreman, sisters, Charlotte Marker and Patricia Thompson, brother, John Holley, sister-in-law, Georgiana (Robert) Waters, her grandchildren, John Helsel, Mark (Sarah) Dotson, Cole (Brooke) Foreman, Colin Foreman, great-grandchildren, Max and Sam Dotson and Josephine Foreman, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to know and love her.

Her family will receive visitors for a visitation and funeral service on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 9720 State Route 161, Plain City, Ohio, 43064. The visitation will begin at 10:00AM and end at 12:00PM for the funeral service to follow immediately after at 12:00PM. We will then go in procession to Sunset Cemetery.
